alrighty, to knock down the BULLSHIT from the truth
1) you won't get "nausea". cannabis is used by chemotherapy patients when they feel nauseous, and what cannabis does is TAKE AWAY the nausea.
2) you need to realize that THC is a RESIN attached to plant material, and smoking any that will produce quite a bit of smoke. If you have asthma and you smoke, it doesn't matter what (with a few exceptions), but it's bad for the asthma. METHAMPHETAMINE is one of the exceptions I can think of (well, the L- isomer... there's 3, d-, d,l-, and l-..the d- isomer is the highly illegal one, and the L- one is the one used in medicine.. you'll find l-methamphetamine in the asthma inhalers). THC itself is not going to "mess up" your throat, but the fact that a lotta smoke is going through is.
3) short term memory is affected ONLY WHILE UNDER THE INFLUENCE. Obviously, if you smoke all day long (and even wake up stoned the next morning, doesn't really matter cause i'll smoke a bowl right when i wake up), then your short term memory is permanently at a loss (however, even smokin all day long, i find that to be somewhat bullshit. i still have my memory, and it works just fine. when i'm stoned as hell, i might "space out" for a few seconds while i'm thinking of something, but i'll remember it. it's not the same as amnesia)
4) yes, driving stoned is not recommended. it does slow down your reflexes (however, i find that i can drive just fine, even slower and more careful than when I'm sober. it makes me slow down and be careful, whereas when i'm sober i like to drive really fast)
5) hypertension and agitation happen when you smoke a very psychoactive sativa. Something like Haze or Cinderella99 for example. Something "trippy", "mildly psychidelic" , etc. What happens is that the ratio of THC to CBD is so high, that it's very much a pure sativa high. However, for certain strains, they have this property of making your heart beat faster and due to the mildly hallucinogenic nature, there's a lot of "things" going on in one's peripheral vision, but when you turn to look, there's nothing. So there's a bit of paranoia with a heady high. That's not necessarily negative, some people breed for that type of thing. My favorite just happens to be Blueberry, which I'm smokin on at the very moment. Very calm, very stoney and laid-back high, with a fresh blueberry muffin smell and taste.
6) panic - see number 5 (it's the paranoia element.. it also happens when you're incredibly stoned and can't find something that you KNOW you put somewhere, but also forgot that you moved it to because you're stoned!), but as to the headaches, THC takes care of all "aches". Headaches, Backaches, Legaches, etc. If you have a headache and you smoke a bowl, it'll be the equivalent of taking medicine. It WILL make your headache go away. (the ONLY exception is if you have sensitive eyes, you get really stoned, and then you go out into a very sunny environment without sunglasses on. think about it!)
7) Confusion, Dizziness - Uh, as far as I know, that's what I smoke for. I wanna be "dazed & confused". To me, smoking weed is a lot of things, but one of them is for partying. Because you want to have fun. It's like drinking alcohol, you'll get dizzy, you'll get stupid, you'll have fun. What's wrong with being dazed & confused? Maybe if you're at WORK it'll be bad, but I never said get stoned as shit then go work. (perfect example of a strain that makes people "dazed and confused" is Trainwreck)
8) frequent paranoia episodes, prolonged paranoia - total and complete bullshit. what you're talking about is a consequence of injecting/smoking too much methamphetamines. go learn about your drugs!
9) and last but not least, the one that is closest to the truth. Yes, cannabis is MILDLY psychologically addictive. To compare it to other substances, CAFFEINE (coffee/tea) is MORE addictive than THC, ALCOHOL (ethanol) is MORE addictive than THC, NICOTINE (cigarettes) is MORE addictive than THC (and I can continue the list to almost infinity. the only things that are less addictive than THC would be hallucinogens, such as LSD, DMT, Psilocin, Salvia, and one amphetamine exception, MDMA. That's right, MDMA is NOT addictive!)
Being a ALL DAY LONG SMOKER, I can tell you that my "pleasure" is not reduced, but HEIGHTENED, I have not gotten a single headache since I started smoking weed, there is NO general discomfort, on the contrary, I feel GREAT all day. As to sleep, you've gotta be outta your mind. You can smoke a small bowl and just lay in bed, and you'll see how fast you fall asleep.
As to wanting to smoke more weed, I don't think so. I'm steady at around 3 grams a day, ALTHOUGH I WON'T LIE because if there IS more weed, yeah, I'll smoke it but only if I don't have to pay for it. Honestly, it's economics. You can smoke so much, but at a certain point, the "value" of a bowl is going to be higher than the "value" of that smoked bowl. As in, you are already high and there is no point in smoking another bowl just for the hell of it. So you conserve. It's common sense.
"Drugs" are an extension of one's conciousness. They are TOOLS to be used in the exploration of the unknown (get it?). So to begin with, if you're a loser idiot moron with not even an iota of intelligence, you should NOT be doing drugs, mainly because you don't understand what the hell you're doing. (not talking to anyone specifically, rather to a general audience)
That's my story, and I'm sticking to it!
