am facut niste comentarii despre partida intr-un alt forum, le scriu aici, chiar daca sunt in engleza.
All right, let's see... I am pleased with this game. Not only did we win 2-1 over a good and solid team with our B team, but we did it without much effort!!! And this is not necessarly a good thing. In fact, many of our players, especially the ones from Divizia A, din't take it as seriously as they should. The first 15 minutes were not so good for us. Poland really tried to score, while we were jogging like primadonna's. Polish players were left in at least in 2 or 3 occasions free to run towards our goal, which is UNACCEPTABLE!!!
..after those 15 minutes, we started playing better

we played a 3-5-2. However, in this case, it was somewhat different than the one we played against Ukraine. In fact, the movements of our players were somewhat different. For an instance, Mutu could be seen also in the center and on the right. Radoi, on the of defenders, could be seen often in attack! . D. Munteanu did not have an offensive role like in the game with Ukraine and Ghioane was not played as a Defensive Midfielder, but as a Right Midfielder. There are other changes also.
All right, let me start describing our players.
Bogdan Lobont- 7 Except one mistake on a cross (and the fact that he got fatter ), he played well. I would have given him a 6.5 but I considered that act of his when he took the ball and ran towards the Polish net as a very good thing to do. He boosted the morale of our boys! (that's when we found the strenght, mainly mental, to keep the score and not to give up and take it easy!)
Gheorghe Popescu- 7 Always sure of himself with only one or two exception. He saved us when the Poles had two consecutive occasions.
Mirel Radoi- 7 He was extremely confident. Nobody passed where he was. He partecipated actively also in attacking. This 21 years old is a great asset for Romania!
Adrian Iencsi- 6.5 He did his job well. He played simple.
Florin Soava- 6 He played well in the offensive task, he can run with the ball well. But his defence skills must improve (he is the one who should have guarded Hajto when this one put the ball in the net quite easily). He needs also to shape up (like almost all our Divizia A players). He is also too inhibited, he must be better prepared psychologically.
Paul Codrea- 6 He didn't start well. He commited too many fouls and his passes weren't as acurate. However, he improved with the passing of time. He needs more time and games to become the Codrea we know.
Dorinel Munteanu- 6.5 Always hard worker, this guy NEVER gives up!!!! We are so lucky to have him! Any more about him would insult your intelligence as all of you know him pretty well!
Adrian Mutu- 6.5 He still didn't play in the position he is better at but his task and position were much better suited for him than the ones Boloni and Hagi gave him. He didn't try too hard as much as he should be but he is excused because he had an exhausting season with Verona (he missed only one game). His dribblings were nice, his passes acurate and his crosses dangerous. His goal was also not bad: he kept his calm, he tricked the defender and dribbled Dudek before putting it in nice and easily. He is improving but, believe me, he can do much better!
Claudiu Niculescu- N.A. He had too little time to prove anything. He had one chance, thought. He was left almost alone with Dudek and shot well. He could have lobed it over the GK but not all our players are like Ilie!
Tiberiu Ghioane- 7.5 This guy is really something. He is incredibly versatile and he is good at almost any position! His defensive skills are almost perfect, his offensive skills are amazing, his technique is impressive (considering his size also)! Plus, it doesn't matter if he plays against Zidane, Rebrov or Klos, he keeps his calm like he was playing in the backyard of his house, not against international players!!!
Eugen Baciu- N.A. He played too little to be marked. But he was very inhibited and he seemed to choke easily. His shape is also deplorable: in a contrast with a Polish player, he went down immediately as he was touched and he did not fake it!!!
Ionel Ganea- 7.5 I have to agree with MArius. He should be present in our line-up. I use this occasion also to apologize for not wanting him in our line-up during Boloni's squad. I was wrong. He runs, he fights, he has good technique, he is strong and he is efficient. His goal is very nice. He had only half a meter or a meter between Dudek and the post and he hit the bull's eye perfectly! He had also other chances and colaborated well with Mutu. He took well the penalty kick, it was Dudek's talent as a GK that kept us from adding another goal, not Ganea's fault.
Ovidiu Petre- N.A. he had 17 minutes of playing time but he was almost invisible. I hope next time he'll play more.
Florentin Dumitru- 7 This guy proved that he can be very reliable during Boloni's era and in this game also. He played as a Right Midfielder and he did well his offensive task. Technically gifted, nice crosses. He partecipated well also in defense.
Florian Cernat- 7 Great!! Another precious gain for our N.T!!! I don't know whether I have to thank nature for giving him an amazing technique or Lobanovsky for making him the fast, physically gifted (Despite his small stature), tenacious player he is! He confused several times the Polish players with his dribblings and with the chain combinations of dribblings! He is aggressive, he is fast, he can break the rythm and he played well with Mutu! ( I was afraid they wouldn't). He provoked the penalty also, his action is very nice but there was no penalty, he faked it very well...which is great news: WE HAVE FOUND OUR INZAGHI!!!
As I said several times before, we have a great generation, we have probably the best generation in our history! The future looks good, but let's stay with our feet on the ground. This was a friendly and the Poles didn't play really well, especially after Engel switched from a 4-4-2 to a 3-5-2. Let's also mention that Engel used his subs in this game, not the regular players. Nevertheless, we have to keep working hard and be humble.

Portugalia va merge sigur mai departe. Lupta pentru al doilea loc va fi intre Koreeni, Americani si Polonezi. Eu sunt inclinat sa cred ca Koreeni vor trece fiindca ii stiu cum joaca. Ei isi dau sufletele pe teren, in anii '80 i-au eliminat pana si pe Italieni
