Hi guys,
I ran into this Forum by accident...I was looking for info about Haiducii and "Dragostea din tei" since you probably know it turned out to be a hit here in Italy. I don't speak Romanian but I could understand that there's been some kind of scandal between Haiducii and O-zone but I couldn't figure out what it was about. Could someone explain it to me either in English or Italian? Thanks in advance

you are right , dragostea din tei is the masterpiece of universal music and o-zone is an inexhaustible source of such masterpieces, playing an active role in enriching the universal culture. if you haven't heard yet, in romania babies in the nurseries, children in the kindergardens, pupils in the schools, students in the highschools, workers in the factories, senators in the parliament, president at cotroceni ,housewifes in the kitchens and retired people in the groceries stores are humming or singing this song. nobody will be surprised here if dragostea din tei will become the national anthem shortly. we are proud that o-zone exists and we really hope that ,they and their music, will live forever. God bless them.

The scandal arose when Haiducii copied the song "Dragostea din tei" as it is from O-Zone without giving them credit or money. Anyway, the O-Zone version is nicer.

Il scandale é che HAIDUCII é un group fatto soltando per fare soldi (Paula Mitrache non é cantatrice). Il pezzo originale é di O-Zone che é un group di romania e il pezzo era sentito in tutte le parte della romania in estate 2003 !
Il problema é che O-Zone non sarrebe informato (da confirmare) di questo re-mix ... Ma tutte queste informazioni sono un 'mix' di tutto quello che ho visto su Internet.

Peut-íªtre ! Ma prima di dire questo bisogna essere sicuri ché O-Zone non era al corrente ché HAIDUCCI voleva fare un remix ! Sul vidéo-clip in Francia í¨ indicato ché questa musica é scritta (parole e musica) da DAN BALAN (leader of O-Zone) ... quindi c'é un dubito che ci sia realmente una copia et una violazione delle legge ...
