Asta e una dintre obsesiile mele muzicale.

Cortez the Killer este defapt Hernan Cortez, exploratorul spaniol care a cucerit Tenochtitlan-ul in 1519 (Mexico City), in timpul lui Montezuma. (cam asta se zice si in versuri)

Melodia de moment e tot una semnata Neil Young, Be the rain.

Versurile nu sunt cine stie ce (save Mother Earth , etc..) dar in rest nimic de reprosat.
Zilele astea chiar ma gandeam ca fara dubii, Neil Young e undeva foarte sus in topul preferintelor mele (vocea si chitara sunt magnifice).

Inapoi la Nick Cave sau mai exact la Nick Cave & Dirty Three pentru un motiv f bine intemeiat - Time Jesum Transeuntum Et Non Rivertentum. Un cantec carui linie melodica suna apocaliptic pe fundalul careia se aude vocea lui Cave predicand.

Daca sunteti curiosi il puteti gasi pe kazaa cu titlul de Zero is also a number, cel putin eu asa am dat de ea.

Google-ul zice ca ar fi si undeva prin X files insa mie imi suna a Millenium, serialul ala care dupa mine cam facea pipi pe x-files la vremea respectiva.

Parca am innebunit, azi mi-a cintat in cap numai afoana aia de Lumidee (asa s-o scrie?! Tocmai ascultam The Ramones- Hey! Ho! Let's Go: The Anthology o colectie de 58 de piese, probabil unele dintre cele mai reusite scoase in cei peste 25 de ani de cariera.

Nu imi plac in mod deosebit (versuri simple, de cele mai multe ori stupide, ) insa mi-e imposibil sa nu ii indragesc. Am ramas in minte cu "Pet Semetary". Foarte fredonabila... "I don't wanna be burried in a pet semetary (asa au ales ei sa scrie

)". Imi aduce oarecum aminte de filmele de duzina din anii 80 pe care oricum le apreciez mai mult decat pe majoritatea verzelor care ies acum . Nu ma intrebati de ce... probabil pt ca the ramones erau niste obisnuiti ai soundrackurilor pe vremea aia.

Am vazut ca Iggy a scos album nou care e chiar f bine cotat.
Am bagat la downloadat cateva melodii insa in ritmul de 0.07 k/s le voi avea probabil saptamana viitoare. Pe album ai canta greenday, peaches... se anunta interesant.

Cam atat cu punku pe ziua de azi.
