Melodiile de moment de astazi sunt din sfere diferite si poate parea ciudata mentionarea lor in acelasi post.
Prima vine de la unul dintre muzicienii pentru care am un mare respect - Iggy Pop care e de vreo 35 de ani pe baricade.
De pe ultimul album - "Skull Ring", Private Hell, cantata cu Green Day.
Vad si doscutia de pe rock in jurul stilulilor de punk, de muzica in general, din ce in ce mai greu de catalogat in izua de azi... pana la urma e urechea cea care ne zice ce suna bine si se vede de la o posta ca ce scoate Iggy pisa multe chestii din zona aia a muzicii. A demonstrat de mult ce avea de demonstrat si faptul ca inca se mentine in varf ma bucura nespus. Sa-l tina Dumnezeu cat mai mult in viata ca si asa e o mare minune ca a ajuns la anii pe care ii are.
Cealalta melodie este tot de pe un album din 2003, "American Life" - Madonna si se cheama Love Profusion.
Poate la capatul opus al imaginii (nu prin efect ci prin abordare) si al felului de a privi muzica lui Madonna i se pot reprosa multe insa nu si faptul ca scoate chestii rasuflate sau de mantuiala.

Vara asta am gasit niste albume cu Magma, o trupa de care auzisem, dar abia anul asta am avut norocul s-o ascult... Nu am apucat sa-i ascult asa mult, mai ales ca e o muzica grea, gen VGG, dar pana acum pot sa spun ca-mi place albumul Kohntarkosz. Nu ma intrebati ce inseamna, astia si-au facut o limba proprie si o lume a lor... Sunt francezi, desi dupa numele albumului ai zice ca-s unguri.

In ultimul timp ascult multe melodii din anii 80 si inceputul anilor 90 si am dat peste Sorpions - Send Me An Angel. Nu cred ca ma voi plictisi de melodia asta vreo data.

As vrea sa spun ca nu imi pot scoate din minte vreo melodie mai "dasteapta" dar din pacate am in cap numai muzica de sarbatori de iarna. Cand ma urc in masina baga astia la radio numai melodii de Craciun deja. Pana ajung acasa numai "Rudolph the red nosed raindeer had a very shiny nose...mmm mmm mmm..." si "Jingle bells" fredonez. Si cand te gandesti ca mai e o luna pana la sarbatori si eu sunt deja satula de ele.

Aseara am ascultat incontinuu Savage Garden, pe care recunosc ca i-am ignorat mult timp, poate prea mult, iar acum, fiind la servici, am televizorul deschis pe VH1, si chiar in momentul asta se difuzeaza REM.

Urmatoarele versuri ar merita puse pe threadul de pe Oldies insa cum ultimul post este facut tot de mine nu vreau sa dau senzatia unui monolog. Ele se gasesc pe un album scos cam pe atunci cand eu ma nasteam si sunt compuse de Neil Young. Felul in care "povesteste" este extraordinar ca nu gasesc alte epitete pentru a-l lauda.

Doamne, Scorpi! e super ceea ce o sa vezi. Neaparat sa fii atenta la Ten Years After, au o piesa dementiala, "Go home". Iar Joe Cocker are o super piesa "A little help from my friends" - e total. Aceeasi piesa o cinta si The Beatles dar in cu totlul alt stil, pe albumul "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band". Si versurile sunt totale. Sa vezi ce tinar era Joe si parca era si mai urit. Si sa vezi ce pantofi are. Fii atenta la tot ce-ti spun, sa nu pierzi ceva. Asta in cazul in care nu ai mai vazut concertul pina acum.
Eu am caseta video si cred ca mi-o voi pune in seara asta (a nu se intelege altgeva
). Nu de alta, dar chiar ca mi-e dor sa revad concertul de la Woodstock. Si sa te mai uiti si la The Who si la Jimi Hendrix - cinta imnul national al Americii in stilul lui propriu si inconfundabil.
Super idee, Scorpi. Miine discutam despre Woodstock. Si apoi sa vezi atmosfera din public. Demential. Doamne, cit as fi vrut sa fiu acolo!
